Sound Games
Sonokids Games
In 2002 John Norgaard and Phia Damsma launched the accessible children’s webportal www.sonokids.com, focusing on sound and music. The portal is unique in its kind in the fact that it is a virtual community for blind, partly sighted and fully-sighted children.
On the Sonokids website no downloads are needed, and the soundgames are free to use. The Sonokids games are played with a normal keyboard and can thus be accessed also from a PC away from home.

Musical remixers
Sonokids remixers are educational and fun at the same time.
Most if not all remixer software on- as well as offline for children have one thing in common: you cannot make it sound bad. The Sonokids remixer however makes children experiment and puts their talent and skills to the test.
The Sonokids remixer is a great way to explore sounds, effects and harmony and train the feeling for rhythm.
It is possible for multiple users to play together if they each have their own computer (without recording the “concert”).
We believe this concept in the end will give the users more pleasure and satisfaction.
And since there are no pre-made solutions they can enjoy it longer.
